Dark Side of the Moon Twist

Dark Side of the Moon, such a great album. This is fan-art for Pink Floyd’s Dark Side of the Moon. I’ve always wanted to make art dedicated about Pink Floyd. They are so inspiring, they’ve come up with so many great songs and their style of art really captured my attention. This was made this for the base of an even more elaborate pink floyd piece I have coming. This is simple enough, yet creative enough, for me to call this an illustration by itself. You can set this as your desktop background too!

This is Dark Side of the Moon album fan-art I guess you could say.  The other pink floyd piece that I have coming, you can view the latest update here. I have quite a bit of work to do on it, so don’t expect anything special. You can set this as your wallpaper too!

I listen to all my favorite pink floyd albums when I draw such as, Dark Side of the moon, Wish You Were Here, Animals, Obscured by Clouds, The Wall, and pretty much all the others.

Updated Philosophy Section

Been thinking some more…  I added details to explain each of my quotes.  Each quote has a couple of sentences after for a better definition.  If I keep elaborating on each subject maybe one day I can turn that webpage into a book.

I also started thinking about self-improvement and added this line.
Life is a learning experience, always challenge yourself with another way to improve yourself.

I also put a nice new banner.  What are you waiting for? Check out the webpage! :)

Syd – Part 5

Wondering if today would be the day, if she will show me where to find a cow, Syd opened his window for a feeling of adventure.  I’ll just have to wait.  A cow would be so great to have, riding it where ever I go.  Looking out his window, seeing the sun rise. Watching it drag itself into they gray sky. Hoping she would come over and show him the way. Cows, salmon, grass, and dandelions,  blue skies, he wanted it to experience it all.  It was breezy and cold outside, Syd lit a fire in a fireplace, to stop the shivers.    As mid-day passed, Syd shut his blinds. Watching the sun hang in the sky made him realize, he wasn’t going anywhere today.  It was evening and he thought of water droplets falling from the sky, that his mother use to tell him about in stories before Vesta became a waste land.  Why am I here? he wondered.  There has to be a place thats warm all the time, a place where I can have salmon friends, and not be so lonely.  Earth looks so wonderful, he thought as he flipped through the photographs he had.  The stories of earth, kept him home, rumors said that it was condemned.  His kind were banned from going there.  Vestian Scroll, says that ones from earth are evil.  A race separated by fear, he may never go to earth even if he knew the way.  He wanted to go, but was afraid that society would reject him for wanting that.  I hate living here, he told himself.  Living in a house in this dessert planet.  Life shouldn’t have to be so dull.  Syd didn’t watch todays sunset, it reminded him that today was a waisted day, he turned his back as the 2 suns sank into the ground.

Syd-An Alien Story

Fan Art by Zachary Tarvit

The 2 Suns in the Sunset, by Zach T

I am starting to write a story about an alien who fantasizes about salmon. You can read it here. He likes to draw them too, and he gives each of his drawings a name. I plan on adding more to my writing.

First Paragraph:

Outside Earth there is a planet named Vesta. It is a cold, dark, and gloomy place; far too cold even for humans to even think of living there. No one is quite sure how many live there, It’s estimated population is about one million aliens. Some say they know how to travel between planets, and some say there are aliens from Vesta living among us. Like the moon, it’s planet has no water. Only edible food that grows on Vesta is Black Barley, and no one is sure how it got there. It’s ground is also shiny like graphite, sometimes you can see it sparkle from earth.

Groovy Graffiti

I am attempting a new style.  I been studying a groovy style for lettering. =)  I love how this turned out.  This says GROOVY.  It’s suppose to look like an 70′s style hippie look.  The letters are some what trippy, especially with the colors, I got the look I wanted.

We are alive. Let us love, and create peace everywhere. That would be Groovy.

So, recently I found out that. I spelt my secret Santa Persons name wrong. So I had to redo it! I would of felt guilty.  It’s better too!  I know I need to get better and more creative.  View more of my pieces in the graffiti section.
